We provide quality Dj’s which have extensive musical knowledge in most genres of music. They have the ability to read a crowd and, how the event should run .

In the event of equipment failure they will rectify and or replace faulty equipment. In the event of busy periods or illness or any other situation requiring a replacement  we will supply a Dj  with the same qualities explained earlier.

Live Wire has DBS Check, full liability insurance and all equipment is PAT tested

The founder and manager of Livewire DJ and Karaoke Hire, has been DJ ing for 16 years mainly mobile,
but has had some residency’s which include Rock world , Manchester , Sunderland and Newcastle dog tracks,
various guest slots all round the country, Brighton ,Liverpool, Southend on Sea York and Preston.
Simon likes all types of music but does really like music before the noughties.
He really enjoys DJ ing as he likes to see people having a good time.
He says customers who hire me are my priority and I try to to make them feel special when they hire me.

Working with Livewire as a DJ is a fantastic job, being an avid music fan I love working to provide an amazing experience for customers celebrations. I enjoy all types of music ranging anything from Pop to Metal, growing up I mainly listened to Hip-Hop and UK Grime and underground music, I have produced some music myself and love the process of making music. I have a good knowledge of most Popular music from the late 90s onwards, and I know quite abit of older music that I grew up with my mum listening too.
My focus as a DJ is to provide the best night possible for the Customers as seeing people having a great time is fun for us too!

I have recently re-joined the Local DJ scene (Live Wire), and have been DJing since the late 90’s. I consider myself an open format DJ, meaning no genre is out of bounds. I have been known to mix hip-hop with pop, rock, 50s, R&B, country, house, 80s, disco, and much more . I like to be prepared for the event in advance with playlists, but also know what the crowd enjoys and how to improvise on request.
